Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Hi
During running Pro *C program while trying to close an opened cursor getting "Segmentation fault (core dumped"

I already checked and the cursor is exist and opened prior to the CLOSE_CURSOR command.

Any idea what else can cause it ?

i looked at the metalink and found that there is a real problem with suport when it comes to pro*c programs. first, look at doc id: 9335.996. it referes to connect strings on 8.1.6 (which doesnt sound like your problem, but how know's). second, i found that if you are running 8.1.5 there is a bug number 864184.
if you need any more help please let me know the os, oracle version and what is happenning in your programe before you get this error.
