Company Profile:

Our client specializes in eCommerce and Information Management. Their products and services are designed for the cattle industry. They offer Real-Time Information Systems to Online Auctions and Brokerage services.

Title: Oracle Applications Administrator

Location: Melbourne area, FL (central Florida)

Job Function: Provides support to ERP Systems team in support of company policies, goals and objectives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Include the following:
- Configures and monitors Concurrent Manager operation
- Configures users
- Configures custom menus and responsibilities
- Configures printers
- Performs usage / access audits as-needed
- Works closely with the Oracle DBA’s to insure that the Applications databases are optimized
- Plans and oversees upgrades and application of patches
- Remain abreast of current and future Oracle Apps-related technologies and directions; recommends direction to management
- Acts as the Oracle-Support liaison for apps-related issues
- Assists support team in resolving Apps-related issues
- Works with outside consultants as-needed (i.e. customizations, enhancements, etc.)

Education/Training:
Requires a minimum of 2+ years Oracle Applications administration (GUI environment preferred), 2+ years SQL, 1+ years Unix user-level usage (not admin or configuration), 1+ years upgrades / patch management. College or equivalent experience are required

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
- Understanding of back-end architecture of NCA environment
- Strong analytical and data modeling skills are required
- Application development experience using Oracle and/or Oracle certification is a plus
