Oracle Help

Hi

Ive just installed oracle 10g onto my computer and have for afew weeks been playing around and learning SQL.

Is anyone here able to tell me how I find out the oracle instance name aswell as the Tns name ?

currently written down from the installation process i have the SID - and the GDN.

select * from v$instance

and for you the SID = instance name

define what you mean by tnsname?
