server Configuration

Hi Friends,
We are going for a Oracle Apps implementation, Financials + Discrete
Mfg. Max. 100 users. we want a good Unix server. Assume HP or
Sun.
Can any body give or work out on the the server configurations and disk (RAID 5) requirements for this implementation?
I am a newbie as a appsDBA
it is very urgent for me .
cause i ahve to suggest server configuration to my management.

RAID 5 for Oracle Fin may not work. You will have perf problem soon.
The conf depends upon the volume of data and user population.
You may get initial requirement from Oracle Corpn. Post it here. We will review it.
