Any experience out there on speed of retrieval of using BFILE vs BLOB. BFILE seems to be platform
dependent ie UNIX vs NT or other. Seems like retrieval speed would be just as good with BLOB if indexes were efficient. Any help or articles on optimizing BLOB retrieval would be appreciated.
