Reports 9i templates

While creating a web and paper layout report in Reports 9i, if we select a template, will this template show up in the output on both the paper layout report as well as web report format?

While using the Oracle pre-defined templates, this template is applied to both web and paper layout, but when we apply the template created by us, only the paper layout report has the template the web based report doesn't show the template attributes.

Please suggest any solutions.
