I am not able to find patch 3 for form 6i on sun os5.8

Well, it looks like it has been removed from ftp://oracle-ftp.oracle.com/dev_tools/patchsets/dev2k/Solaris/6i/patch3/

However, you can access it via MetaLink. It is patch number 1649803 (patch 3), or patch number 1629154 (patch 3A). Why not get the latest patch for your platform/OS combination? Patch 3 is a 75MB download.

Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm, if I apply the latest patch, would that cover all the previous patch. (may be an absurd question ..)

Patches normally/usually/generally always include previous patch fixes.
