9iAS Developer installation problem

I downloaded the trial version of Developer 9iAS. I have NT SP4. When I try to install it says windows system files not updated. I run WSM exe as told in help, start over and same error comes up. Thare is no other action specified in Installation Help. Please help ?


I have closed all other programs as well.

First install winNT Sp6 and then try again

Thanks. As of now I am unable to upgrade the current machine, but I installed it on Win2000 on a different machine and it installed without a problem.

Anyway I tried again on NTsp4 and I get incomplete registry entry error while runnig windows system update. I deleted all registray entry related to new Oracle Home ( I have more than one oracle homes on this machine ) and still the same. Do you think I absolutely need SP6 or is there any other workaround ?

Hi

I think your registry has been screwed somehow..Restore the registry backup before you started the installtion of oracle9ias and try.
