creating a pdf file through the web

I want to dynamically generate PDF files. My goal is to be able to query an Oracle database, and have the results print into a PDF file that can be viewed and printed on the web.

PS: I am trying to avoid using Oracle Reports.

You can use java to that..search on google for creating pdf documents with java
