I'm starting my Oracle Certification - want to be done
by end of November. I completed phase 1 from Couchman
book and answered all questions in his related Exam Questions books - there are two practice exams for each
phase. Is this enough? I don't want to spend more money
on the STS software. Are the STS questions different from
the Exam Guide questions.

My background is in Electrical Engineering, and I have
extensive unix experience, so I'm finding the going fairly
easy so far.....

EXAM CRAM books are not expensive. You will get valuable inputs from them.
Or if you have time, you can read Oracle Manuals.

Hi,
You can download free practice questions from http://www.education.oracle.com and it contains 40 questions for
each papers.

I agree with tamilselvan, Exam cram is good source
to pass the exam :)

STS, you can buy if you know somebody who also
preparing for OCP so you can share cost of it with him.

HTH,

Good Luck:)

hi
I think I am sailing in the same boat as you.
I am using the JASON COUCHMANS book too.....which is the guide for all 5 exams, apart from that I will share the cost of STS if you are interested.

I live in HOUSTON TX .
so if you are in the same city that will be easy enough.
are you preparing for the first test PL/SQL or something else?

If you are interested write to me on

I suggest you get STS questions. They will give you a lot of input. Much more insight to Couchmans book. It will also give you a give feel of the Exam.
