Hello Vimalp,

I have reading your posts for quite some time now and can certainly understand your position.

With all due respect to you, I would like to object the words "...and willing to work for minimum pay" in this post.

Are you under-estimating yourself ? Having DBA certification is certainly a coveted thing. If any prospective employer reads this, they might get wrong impressions about you and your capabilities.

Finding a job might be a problem - I agree. But then I urge you NOT to reduce your VALUE.

DEAR SVK,
Thanks for nice Tips :)
but I'm in bad situation now, I Invested my Time and Money
and still no rewards!!!!!!
I'm very much Confedent on Oracle as i prepared it myself
at home and love to learn new things on it, Now i just brought
Books for Oracle Application Developer to prepare it at home.
(I used to learn myself sience my Higher secondery school)
bcoz so many people suggested me this track to find entry level or junior level position (what you think?).

I just want the JOB ! I DON'T care about PAY now
even i'm ready to offer my job free for some time if
they want to try me(Bcoz I'm very much confedent
about my ability as I'm Quick and On-going learner).

Thanks again :)

Hello,

It's bad to see your MINIMUM level coming to ZERO !!
I ones again request you not to underestimate yourself when you sound so confidant about yourself.

If I recollect properly, you are in Canada, right ?

I thought of mentioning the "monster.ca" site you - if you do not already know it !! "monster.com" is basically Washington based and has got a good reputation in WA (well, I am not advertising them). They recently announced their Canada site. I checked it myself and it DOES have quite a few ORACLE related job postings.

Sorry to bother you but, I thought of sharing this piece of info with you.

All the Luck !!

I didn't get anything from these sites as there is NO JOB

for us and thats why i came on this option)

Anyway thanks a lot for your help :)

Always don't show this much enthu in the public forum. Now everyone know vimal as hell bent on getting a job.
Vimal you have OCP certification.Which most people dont have.Be confident and keep trying.D'ont ever circulate your resume like advt paper.
Go to a good consultant who is in the field of oracle dba in your area and speak to him.tell him your reqirements .Keep in touch with them .Surely you will get one.Pls dont spoil your name in the public forum

Vimal Patel,

I'm currently looking for someone to fill a junior DBA position in the Washington DC Metro area. The joc lends itself to working in a position where I would be your mentor until you felt comfortable working in a production environment.

Please contact me ASAP at hinermak@datainteraction.com

Thank you
