Free Oracle tool

Hi Everybody,

I am thinking of writing an open-source/freeware tool for oracle dbas/developers. Can anybody give me some good ideas for a software utility that would be helpful to the Oracle dba/developer community.

Please suggest me a utility which would helpful in your work as a dba/developer.

Build something like TOAD as freeware, then sell out to a big company like Quest.

Oh no, someone has already done that :-)

I spent some time building my own tool but in the end decided that there were too many tools out there written by people who do it as their full time job. After looking at what I produced (which was ok) I decided the game wasnt worth the candle...
