forms6i - Net8 8.0.6 using OID

installed forms6i, trying to figure out how to get the integrated Net8 client to use OID... how can I do this .. I need to get away from tnsnames and people are telling me they have gotten OID to work on the old client... but so far I cannot find any research showing me how....???
